The City of Concord Buildings and Grounds Department will commence the annual spring cleaning of Oakwood Cemetery, Rutherford Memorial Cemetery, and West Concord Cemetery on April 7, 2025. The maintenance work is expected to last about a week.
Residents are advised to clear any items placed on or near gravesites by Monday, April 7, to facilitate spring mowing and grounds work. Items not removed by this date will be discarded, although flowers and decorations can be replaced starting Monday, April 14. Notices informing residents of these measures have been placed at each cemetery.
