A new public art project is underway at Les Myers Park, and the community has an opportunity to influence the mural's design through an online survey. The City of Concord Public Art Commission is spearheading the city's first Council-commissioned mural, aiming for it to mirror the community's values, interests, and aesthetics.
To achieve this goal, input from residents is essential. The survey can be accessed at publicinput.com/concordmural and will remain open until Friday, November 8.
The planned mural will adorn the existing tennis wall that faces Lawndale Avenue, near the upper parking lot and tennis courts. Completion of the mural is expected by May 2025.
