County of Cabarrus issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
CabCo TV Presents: "Historical Moments with Judge Clarence Horton" 25th Episode Premiere.
Judge Clarence Horton is a longtime champion for the preservation of local history. He’s devoted countless hours to documenting our past in written and filmed presentations, including CabCo TV’s “Historical Moments with Clarence Horton.”
We’re celebrating the 25th episode of “Historical Moments” with a premiere event and panel discussion on the evolution of the documentary series. The 25th episode details the history of local United Methodist Churches.
The community is invited to enjoy the premiere on Saturday, October 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Davis Theatre in downtown Concord. Popcorn and old-style theater candy will be offered at the show.
Following the premiere, a Q&A session will dive into the making of the show and the impact it’s had over the past 17 years. Panelists include Horton, along with former CabCoTV Manager David Baxter and current Production Manager Jarrett Glass.
Guests will also have the opportunity to walk the Cabarrus Arts Council galleries and interact with QR-coded displays that lead to snippets of fan-favorite “Historical Moments” episodes.
