We are amazed! ALL trees from the Community Canopy Program have been spoken for in under 24 hours*!
Thank you all so much for your interest in creating a greener community, we're excited to see all the beautiful new trees around town.
if you are interested in receiving a tree, please keep referring to the website in the event that any orders get canceled and more trees become available.
Thanks to the Arbor Day Foundation, the Harrisburg Sustainability Advisory Board, and the Cannon Foundation, The Town of Harrisburg is proud to sponsor the Community Canopy Program which will provide free trees to our residents! You can choose between four options: Baldcypress, Dogwood, Sugar Maple, or Witchhazel.
At the Town of Harrisburg we're committed to a greener, healthier community. Trees around homes will not only help reduce the amount of energy your home requires, but they also add to your property value, reduce your carbon footprint, improve the air quality, and more effectively catch stormwater runoff. It is our intention that the free trees we provide be a gift to you and your neighborhood community.
