City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Crews have finished painting the exterior of the Aquadale water tank on Highway 52. This project is more than just a paint job. Crews are performing key maintenance inside the tank. A washout inspection removes any sediment inside. The tank is inspected, disinfected, and put back into service in like new condition. This work is just one example of the ways the City of Albemarle is always working to ensure residents continue to have clean drinking water.
