The City of Concord Water Resources Department has announced two road closures for the week starting February 27. These closures are necessary to facilitate essential maintenance work. Local property owners and residents will still have access, but through traffic is encouraged to find alternative routes.
Starting Monday, February 28, Barrington Place NW will be closed at its intersection with Maderia Drive NW. This closure is to allow stormwater crews to work on a crossover pipe. The closure will begin around 7:30 a.m. and is expected to last three days. Although the road will reopen after the stormwater work is completed, repair activities will continue throughout the week.
Additionally, a section of Spring Street NW will be closed overnight on Thursday, March 3. This closure is required for wastewater crews to conduct repairs on a sewer main. Spring Street NW will be inaccessible between Cabarrus Avenue W and Grove Street NW from approximately 7 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Maps providing further details on these scheduled road closures are available for reference.
