Residents and visitors of Downtown Concord are being encouraged to envision the future of the city by participating in a survey aimed at creating a unified brand identity for the area. The City of Concord is seeking input from the community to understand how they currently experience Downtown Concord and how they would like to experience it in the future.

As stated by the City of Concord, "The community is invited to take a brief online survey and share what Downtown Concord means to them." The survey, available at concordnc.gov/downtownsurvey, will be open for two weeks to gather valuable insights and opinions.

Concord, once a small farming community, has now evolved into one of North Carolina's largest and fastest-growing cities. The historic and charming Downtown area plays a significant role in the city's appeal to families and businesses. To further enhance the vibrancy of Downtown Concord, the City is investing over $13 million in a new Streetscape project. This initiative aims to create new outdoor dining and entertainment experiences, as well as provide more space for public art and community gatherings.

The ongoing development in Downtown Concord has already attracted substantial private investment, with over $165 million being poured into the area. Notably, LMG has contributed $84 million towards the Novi projects, consisting of three residential and mixed-use properties. Novi Flats, the first of these properties, has recently opened its doors to residents.

With significant transformations taking place in Downtown Concord, the City recognizes an opportunity to establish a cohesive brand that respects the city's current charm while paving the way for its future growth as a top destination for families, businesses, and visitors. The community's input through the online survey will play a crucial role in shaping the vision for Downtown Concord.

Residents and visitors interested in contributing their thoughts on the future of Downtown Concord are encouraged to complete the online survey. Additionally, for more information on the ongoing projects in Downtown Concord, upcoming events, and businesses in the area, individuals can visit concorddowntown.com.
