Contractors have announced a lane closure on Spring Street SW in Concord, scheduled for August 3, 2022, to facilitate ongoing work on the Novi Rise property. The closure, set to last from 2 a.m. to 12 p.m., is vital for the completion of the final concrete pour for the podium deck of the Novi Rise property.
According to reports, the Novi Rise property is part of a larger initiative aimed at transforming Downtown Concord into a hub for high-performance living, dining, and entertainment. This development is part of a series of projects undertaken by Lansing Melbourne Group (LMG) in the area.
In addition to the lane closure on Spring Street SW, drivers are reminded that Barbrick Avenue SW remains closed as well. This closure is related to the ongoing work on the new Downtown Streetscape, a project that aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of Concord's downtown district and create new experiences for residents and visitors.
The Novi Rise property, along with Novi Flats and Novi Lofts, represents a significant private investment in downtown Concord, totaling an estimated $70 million. The Novi Rise property alone accounts for approximately $38.5 million of this investment and is expected to offer 167 residential units along with retail space on the street level.
As construction progresses, residents and stakeholders are encouraged to stay informed about the developments in Downtown Concord. Those interested in tracking the construction progress and learning more about the projects can visit concorddowntown.com for updates and information.
