City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Dec. 19.
City of Albemarle Police Department and City of Albemarle Fire Department Firefighters helped children shop for Christmas gifts.
Homes of Hope Inc. identifies children in families facing financial struggles to receive assistance from the Holiday Heroes program. Donations allow each child to spend $75 on clothes and $75 on toys at Walmart.
