Locust Police Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
"I just wanted to share something about one of your officers. I was leaving Locust last evening and got pulled over for speeding by Officer Yang. I just wanted to tell you how very polite and courteous Officer Yang was. I know a lot of times officers get a bad rep, and just wanted to give him some positive encouragement. I appreciate all you guys do and I hope you will pass this message along to him!"
