In 2024, Medicaid providers in Concord submitted $23,833,134 in bills for services listed under the National Codes Established for State Medicaid Agencies, up 19.7% compared to the prior year.

The City of Concord has lifted a recent boil water notice for customers north of I-85 and NC-73 after confirming safe drinking water through tests. Only a small number of households were affected; others remained unaffected throughout this period.

A boil water notice has been issued for a small number of Concord residents after E. coli was found in part of Kannapolis’ drinking supply. Only those living north of I-85 and NC-73 who receive their service from Kannapolis are affected; free bottled water is being distributed.
