TOWN OF HARRISBURG: The 2022 Golden Egg Hunt

Town of Harrisburg issued the following announcement on Mar. 21.

Please Join us in 2022 for the Annual Golden Egg Hunt!

In an effort to get families in the parks spending time together, thousands of plastic, colored Easter eggs, along with over 45 golden eggs will be hidden in various parks throughout Harrisburg: Pharr Mill Park, Harris Depot Park, Harrisburg Park, and Harrisburg Town Hall.

Families may search for eggs during park hours on Monday, April 11 thru Wednesday, April 13. Plastic-colored eggs will have a small toy or piece of candy. Eggs will be hidden at various times during this 3 day period.

If you are one of the lucky people to find a grand prize golden egg (with a ticket in it), you can redeem your prize at The Harrisburg Parks and Recreation office on Monday, April 18, 2022. Prizes include: tickets to various outings in the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County areas plus other goodies such as Easter baskets, toys, and games!

Families, a few things to keep in mind when “hunting” for eggs:

– Please help us to keep your parks clean and green! Please discard of plastic eggs and candy wrappers in trash receptacles.

-Please be courteous and leave some eggs for others to find!

-Limit one Golden Egg per family.

-Have fun exploring the parks in Harrisburg!

Harris Depot Park: 6950 Harris Depot Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075; Hours: Sunrise to Sunset, Monday through Sunday

Pharr Mill Park: 6775 Pharr Mill Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075; Hours: Sunrise to Sunset, Monday through Sunday

Harrisburg Park: 191 Sims Pkwy, Harrisburg, NC 28075; Hours: 5:30am-10:30pm, Monday through Sunday
