Town of Harrisburg issued the following announcement on Aug. 15.
The Town is continuing to work very closely with NCDOT, CCS and the contractors to ensure a smooth and safe opening of the round-a-bouts at Raging Ridge and HES Entrance. Stallings at HES will remain closed through Monday 8/15 at 9 am at which time the closure will be moved to Stallings at Raging Ridge. The closure at Stallings and Raging Ridge will remain in effect until Thursday 8/25, at which time both new round-a-bouts on Stallings Road will be fully reopened to through traffic.
Residents of Stallings Farm should utilize the western portion of Stallings Road to access their neighborhood beginning Monday 8/15
Harrisburg Elementary School will be accessible via the new round-a-bout Monday 8/15
Construction is ongoing in both areas, so please be aware that there may be temporary lane closures, limited to non-peak hours, in the next few weeks.
