Town of Harrisburg issued the following announcement on May 9.
The Planning and Zoning Advisory Board is currently accepting applications to fill three vacant Board seats, two members who reside in the Town of Harrisburg limits and one member to represent the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of Harrisburg.
The Planning and Zoning Board makes recommendations to the Town Council on rezoning cases, major subdivisions and text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance. The Planning and Zoning Board does not make final decisions; they are an advisory board whose purpose is to make recommendations to the Town Council regarding land use decisions.
Applications are due by July 7, 2022
