Town of Harrisburg issued the following announcement on Apr. 13.

This is an example of one of The Golden Eggs. The SHINY gold eggs WITH a slip inside are redeemable for the corresponding prize. You can redeem your prize at The Parks and Recreation Office on Monday, April 18th. 

Please remember this event was organized to get families in the parks spending time together. Eggs are hidden 3 times per day at the following locations: Harris Depot Park, Pharr Mill Park and Harrisburg Park.

A boil water notice has been issued for a small number of Concord residents after E. coli was found in part of Kannapolis’ drinking supply. Only those living north of I-85 and NC-73 who receive their service from Kannapolis are affected; free bottled water is being distributed.
