Avelo Airlines is set to expand its operations in Charlotte with the establishment of a new base at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport. This development includes positioning two aircraft in Charlotte, launching nonstop routes to Daytona Beach, Florida, and Nashville, Tennessee, and creating up to 50 jobs.

The airline will now serve nine nonstop destinations from Charlotte. Fares start at $44 one-way, available for booking on AveloAir.com. The Concord airport offers a convenient alternative to the larger Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

Service to Daytona Beach begins April 3, 2025, while flights to Nashville commence April 4, 2025. Since May 2024, Avelo has flown over 40,000 customers on nearly 300 flights from this location.

The new base will open March 6, 2025. Initially deploying one Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft with another added in April. The expansion will generate various job opportunities including roles in customer service and technical operations.
