On Monday, April 26, the City of Concord Water Resources Department will commence its annual Sewer Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining project. The work is set to continue until August 24, 2021.

The project aims to enhance the durability of the city's infrastructure by covering approximately 28,000 linear feet of sewer line and 108 manholes. During this period, contract crews will clean all sewer lines and apply a steam process to line the manholes. Residents might notice steam emanating from manholes during this time; however, they are advised that this is a normal part of the procedure.

Residents will receive notifications at least 24 hours before work begins on their street, either through door hangers or in-person communication. It is expected that there will be no interruption to sewer services throughout the project's duration.

A map with routes marked in red where work will take place can be accessed online for further details.
