Allegiant Airlines has launched a new nonstop service from Concord-Padgett Regional Airport to Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The service commenced on May 28, 2021, and is being celebrated with introductory one-way fares starting at $45.
Drew Wells, senior vice president of revenue and planning at Allegiant, expressed enthusiasm about the new route. "We are excited to offer Concord residents Allegiant’s brand of convenient, nonstop service to two new cities as they begin to return to the skies to reconnect with family and friends," he said. Wells also highlighted the benefits for Sarasota locals seeking an affordable travel option to North Carolina's attractions without layovers.
The route will operate twice weekly, with flight details and fares available exclusively on Allegiant.com.
Dirk Vanderleest, Aviation Director at Concord-Padgett Regional Airport, commented on the partnership with Allegiant. "We are excited to continue adding low-cost, nonstop flights to Florida with Allegiant," he stated. Vanderleest noted that Florida's Gulf Coast is popular among travelers and anticipated welcoming visitors eager to explore Concord's motorsports or historic downtown.
Allegiant provides low base fares along with savings on rental cars and hotels for Charlotte-area travelers. The airline offers a comprehensive booking option for vacations through its platform.
The introductory fares have specific conditions: seats and dates are limited; bookings must be made by May 30, 2021; travel must occur by August 16, 2021; additional charges may apply; more information can be found on Allegiant.com.
Allegiant Air is part of Las Vegas-based Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT), which focuses on connecting small-to-medium city travelers with vacation destinations through nonstop flights at competitive prices. More details about the company are available on their website.
