The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Richard L. Hudson Jr., Hudson for Congress, refunded $2,900 to Marcus G. Smith on April 23, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Hudson for Congress has refunded $26,372 total since Nov. 1, 2020.
