The statewide pledge Count On Me NC is being supported by the Cabarrus County Convention & Visitors Bureau to highlight businesses that completed the North Carolina COVID-19 training program, the county said in a release.
"Businesses that have completed this training are going above and beyond to keep our community and visitors healthy," Cabarrus County CVB President and CEO Donna Carpenter said in the July press release. "This new feature showcases their commitment as well as our promise to ensure that travel resumes safely in Cabarrus County."
Once completing the training, businesses receive a logo to identify they have earned the designation, the release said.
Businesses, including hotels, restaurants, attractions and other tourism and hospitality companies, can participate in the training for free online at CountOnMeNC.org to help North Carolina recover its economy.
Individuals can also give a Guest Pledge online to help businesses that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
