Stanly County recently issued the following announcement.
County Offices Closed to the Public w/Operational Changes
County offices were closed to the public effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Staff is still available to assist citizens via telephone, email or through our many online applications.
The County is actively monitoring the COVID-19 emergency, and has made the decision to close access to most facilities and offices to help mitigate the community spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

To assist residents with accessing services during this time, below is a link to a full list of our services and the best method for making payments, completing applications, making appointments, asking questions, etc. If residents still have questions please do not hesitate to contact the County Manager’s Office at 704-986-3600.
