0Comments

County of Cabarrus issued the following announcement on Dec. 8.

As work continues on the new Courthouse, downtown motorists should be aware of work being performed along Church Street in the upcoming week.

This Sunday and Monday (December 11 and 12), crews will set the permanent mast, arm and signal for the intersection of Church Street and Corban Avenue.

On Monday evening, the intersection will briefly close and traffic will be re-routed while the permanent signals are switched.

On Thursday (December 15) the water-filled barricades will be removed from Church Street as crews work to complete the balance of work on the north side of the building.

Crews also plan to pave an area of Church Street and Corban Avenue in early March.
