0Comments

County of Cabarrus issued the following announcement on Mar. 4.

For a community to thrive, its residents must have jobs and its government must provide services. How does this happen? Through economic development.

Cabarrus Economic Development Corporation (Cabarrus EDC) serves as the lead economic development agency for Cabarrus County, Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg, Midland, and Mount Pleasant. They are actively achieving their goal to increase the quality of life for Cabarrus County residents by creating high-impact jobs and new tax investments.

Over the last five years, Cabarrus EDC has announced over $2.3 billion in new tax investments and almost 4,000 new jobs.

Join us for Gov 101: Economic Development.

Through this interactive and educational experience, attendees will learn how the Cabarrus EDC’s public-private partnership is:

 Creating local jobs

 Increasing wealth in Cabarrus County

And creating connections that promote and advance a healthy economy

Attendees will be able to connect with local small businesses, tour the Cabarrus Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, learn about the roles of tourism and small business in economic development, and engage with County leadership.
