County of Cabarrus issued the following announcement on March 279
Starting April 1, children in the NC Health Choice Program will move to NC Medicaid and begin receiving additional physical and behavioral health services. This change will help save families money and increase access to care!
No more enrollment fees or copays for medical visits and prescriptions.
Access to enhanced behavioral health services will be granted, which was not previously covered by NC Health Choice.
The move is automatic.
