City of Kannapolis issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
For many years our firefighters have helped burn victims and their families.
We collect aluminum cans and the money from this effort is used to help defray costs such as travel to and from burn centers, lodging for family members, medical supplies and more.
You can help by donating your cans at the trailers located on 1230 S. Main Street and at the intersection of East 26th Street and Cannon Boulevard.
Please rinse your cans and bag them. Thank you for helping us!
