City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on June 29.
The City of Kannapolis Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for Flag Football for children ages 5 to 14. Registration will close on July 31.
The registration fee is $40 for Kannapolis residents and $60 for non-residents, which includes the cost of uniforms, practices and games. Scholarships and sponsorships are available.
Practices begin August 22 and games will start September 10. The season will end October 29. Games and practices will be held primarily at Safrit Park.
Visit kannapolisnc.gov or call Parks and Recreation at 704-920-4343 to register, apply for a scholarship and sign up to be a coach or sponsor.
