City of Kannapolis issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
The City of Kannapolis would like to congratulate the winners of its photography contest which was held recently. The City received hundreds of photos from both professional and non-professional photographers. The winning photos illustrate the people, places and things that make the City unique, and they will be displayed in the Kannapolis City Hall.
The winners for each category are:
- “Discover a Healthy Life”- Phil Bumgardner
- Beauty- Angie Ennis, Doug Kirkman, Jordan Parks and David Roman
- Architectural- Marie Brown, Phil Bumgardner and David Roman
- Landmarks- Jason Foor
- History- Gary Odrosky and David Roman
- People- Phil Bumgardner
- Digital Manipulation- Phil Bumgardner
- Municipal Functions- Marie Brown and Phil Bumgardner
