City of Concord issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Heads up #ConcordNC, there are several road closures tomorrow for utility work.
Closure 1: Lore St. SW will be closed beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 8:00 A.M. to allow stormwater crews to replace a crossover pipe. The road is expected to reopen on Friday, Nov. 18 by 3:00 P.M. See the map for details
Closure 2: A portion of Gladen Pl NW will be closed to through traffic at Sundale Ave NW beginning Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 8:00 A.M., to allow stormwater crews to replace a crossover pipe. The closure is expected to last until Friday, Nov. 18 at 3:00 P.M. See the map for details.
Closure 3: There will be two separate closures on Central Dr NW to allow our Electric Systems crews to make repairs. On Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 7:30 A.M. – 3:00 P.M., Central Dr NW will be closed to thru traffic between Concord Parkway N and Faggart Ave NW and between Camden Ct NW and Parkway Ave NW. On Thursday, Nov. 17 from 7:30 A.M. 0 3:30 P.M. Central Dr NW will have one lane open with a flagger in place between Parkway Ave NW and Lizzie Ct NW. See the map for details.
