City of Concord issued the following announcement on Jan. 31.

Applications for the City of Concord’s External Agency Funding open January 31, 2022.  Each year, the city awards funding to non-governmental, or “External Agencies,” that contribute to the city’s cultural, social, and economic vitality.

Nonprofit agencies that serve a public purpose are eligible to apply for Fiscal 2022-2023 funding from one of two categories:

  • City of Concord Grant, which can include a one-time project grant; start-up grant for new programs or nonprofits; or a sustaining grant.
     
  • Affordable Housing Grant, which reimburses nonprofits building safe, decent, and affordable housing within the city limits for the cost of application city Water and Wastewater Connection Charges and City Zoning Clearance Permit fees.
    Agencies interested in applying should do so online using the Neighborly Software.
