City of Albemarle Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on July 19.
Tired of taking your dog on the same walk?
You could bring them to one of our City Parks.
We have two simple rules:
-Dogs must stay on a leash
-Don’t forget to clean up after your dog
And if you want to give Spot an extra treat, visit the dog park area at Chuck Morehead Park.

Rocky Creek
City Lake
Don Montgomery
