City of Albemarle issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.

“Judy, 50 years is hard to even believe. We want to thank you for all that you’ve done for the City. It’s hard for me to believe that you’re leaving. I’ve known you almost my entire life.” -Mayor Ronnie Michael

After 50 years of service to our City, Judy Redwine was presented with a certificate recognizing her retirement at last night’s City Council meeting. Judy climbed the ranks, starting as a Clerk with Public Works to eventually become the Director of Public Utilities. We thank Judy for her years of dedication and wish her all the best in her retirement.
