Albemarle Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

Food Truck Fridays return to City Lake Park on the first Friday of each month beginning March 4th. We’re excited to share the line up of food trucks participating this year. We expect this list to keep growing! 

Starting in April, free live music returns. We have a great lineup of performers again this year. We hope to see you there!

Food Trucks: Cafe Smith’s, Dogs on the Run, Higgins & Son BBQ, Hilltop Seafood, J & M Sandwiches, Jack’s Treat Truck, Mottzarella’s On Time Snacks, Pride Catering, Smokin’ Mac, Wildfire Pizza & BBQ, What A Burger (NOT ALL FOOD TRUCKS

AVAILABLE EACH MONTH)

APRIL 1 – Ryan Perry

May 6 – Ace Party Band

June 3 – Cassette Rewind

July 8 – Gump Fiction

August 5 – Too Much Sylvia

September 9 – The Tonez (food trucks & music at Market Station)

October 7 – Southside Saints
