Albemarle Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.

Food Truck Fridays return to City Lake Park on the first Friday of each month beginning March 4th. We’re excited to share the line up of food trucks participating this year. We expect this list to keep growing! 

Starting in April, free live music returns. We have a great lineup of performers again this year. We hope to see you there!

Food Trucks: Cafe Smith’s, Dogs on the Run, Higgins & Son BBQ, Hilltop Seafood, J & M Sandwiches, Jack’s Treat Truck, Mottzarella’s On Time Snacks, Pride Catering, Smokin’ Mac, Wildfire Pizza & BBQ, What A Burger (NOT ALL FOOD TRUCKS

A boil water notice has been issued for a small number of Concord residents after E. coli was found in part of Kannapolis’ drinking supply. Only those living north of I-85 and NC-73 who receive their service from Kannapolis are affected; free bottled water is being distributed.

The City of Concord is awaiting state guidance following a boil water notice in nearby Kannapolis. Officials are coordinating with local agencies and will update residents when more information arrives.
